
To fully comply with all Philippine fiscal regulations, the public is hereby informed that beginning Monday, 11 May 2020, the Consular Section of the Embassy will no longer be collecting fees for return postage of passports or processed consular documents. All applicants will need to arrange for their own return postage.
APPLICANTS APPLYING IN PERSON
For all those applying in person wishing to have their passports or processed documents mailed back to them, please do either one of the following when you apply, in addition to the requirements for the services you wish to avail:
- You may bring a self-addressed and self-stamped envelope from Posten Norway – please refer to the website of Posten Norway for the appropriate fees: https://www.posten.no/en/price-list.
The following envelopes under “Registered Letter” are prescribed:

- You may also arrange for return postage by courier, such as DHL and FedEx. Please bring a print-out of your waybill with barcode from your preferred courier.
APPLICANTS APPLYING BY POST OR COURIER
For all those sending consular applications to the Embassy by post within Norway, including visa, civil registry (Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Report or Death), and au pair contract attestation, please include a self-addressed and self-stamped big envelope (NOK 245) with tracking number from Posten Norway, in addition to applicant’s complete documents.
For all those sending consular applications to the Embassy by post from outside Norway, including visa, civil registry (Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Report or Death), au pair contract attestation, and authentication of documents (for Finland only), please arrange for return of your documents by courier and include a print-out of the waybill with barcode along with applicant’s complete documents.
Kindly note that the Embassy is still not accepting visa applications until further notice. The above arrangements will apply to visa applicants when visa services resume at the Embassy.
Applicants who have paid for return postage before 11 May 2020 will not be affected by this change, and the Embassy will still use the amount paid to mail their passports or processed documents.
