As part of the itinerary of his visit to Madrid, the President met with the Filipino Community in Spain, where he delivered a speech. An estimated 44,007 Filipinos reside in Spain, the vast majority of whom are holders of Spanish permanent resident cards or are already Spanish citizens. Most Filipinos in Spain work in the service sector.
