Philippine Embassy in Norway Conducts Overseas Voting Registration and Consular Mission in Torshavn, Faroe Islands.

Oslo, 7 October 2017  --  With the support of COMELEC, the Philippine Embassy in Oslo conducted an overseas voter registration and consular outreach mission in Torshavn, Faroe Islands.   The consular team was composed of Third Secretary and Vice Consul Juan Paolo Alix, Attaché Asteria Aguilloso, and Attaché Loreto Riolada.

The consular team processed  ePassport applications and registered  overseas voters as part of the Embassy's thrust of bringing services closer to Filipinos all throughout the Nordic Region.

The overseas voter registration and consular outreach  mission is one of the farthest missions of the Philippine Embassy this year.  An autonomous country within the Kingdom of Denmark, the Faroe Islands archipelago lies in the North Atlantic between Norway and Iceland,  and is approximately 1,500 km away from Oslo.
