The Philippine Bureau of Immigration recently issued the following reminder to holders of ACR I-Card of permanent residents of the Philippines:
“The payment of the annual report fee is made during the first sixty (6) days of every calendar year. Annual report payments made beyond this period are fined two hundred pesos (Php200.00) for every month, not to exceed two thousand pesos (Php 2,000.00) in a year.
Foreigners within the Philippines who fail to pay the annual report fee within the first sixty (6) days of every calendar year are fined based on the above-quoted rate, based on current immigration rules and regulations. On the other hand, foreigners who are outside the country during this period are not subject to the fine imposed above. They are required, however, to settle their annual report fees within one month from the time they arrived in the country”.
