Donations for Typhoon Ondoy Victims
Typhoon Ondoy (International name: Ketsana) hit the Philippines last 26 to 27 September submerging Metro Manila and nearby provinces of Bulacan, Rizal and other low-lying areas in sudden flood of a magnitude that has not been seen for decades in the areas affected.
As of noon of 28 September, Ondoy left 122 dead and 29 missing. Meanwhile, 337,216 persons are severely affected and around 60,000 have been accommodated in evacuation centers. As transportation and monitoring facilities become operational, these numbers are expected to rise.
