2010 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas

Dearest Kababayans in Norway, Denmark and Iceland,

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas is pleased to inform all our kababayans that the nominations for the Year 2010 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas are now open.

The Presidential Awards is a biennial search to recognize exceptional individuals and organizations for their outstanding contribution to Philippine progress and development. The Awards is also conferred on overseas Filipinos who have shown excellence and distinction in their work or profession.

Copies of the Primer containing the rules and guidelines for the Presidential Awards, as well as nomination forms (which may be reproduced) may be downloaded from the website www.cfo.gov.ph. The completed nomination forms with supporting documents should be forwarded to the Embassy on or before 15 May 2010.
