Prosedyre Søknad av Au Pair : Procedures for Au Pair Application

  1. The host family downloads the contract from the UDI website and signs it.
  2. The host family brings the signed contract to the Philippine Embassy for attestation. He/she is requested to present a valid identification (ID) or copy of passport.

Kindly check with the Philippine Embassy (Tel No.: +47 22400900) if your Machine Readable Passport (MRP), applied for during the Embassy Mobile Passporting Outreach held in Copenhagen, Denmark and Trondheim, Norway on 13 June 2010, is ready for release. Kindly send your existing (green) passport to the Embassy for cancellation to enable us to release your new MRP passport.

Travel Tax Exemption Privilege of Philippine Missionaries Assigned Abroad

Travel Advisory to South Africa

The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform all Filipinos in Norway, Denmark and Iceland that they would need transit visas when they travel to South Africa en route to other countries in the African continent.

The transit visa requirement of the South African government takes effect on 01 July 2010.

Please be informed that the Philippine Embassy will be closed on Wednesday, 30 June 2010 pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 2085, (Presidential Inaugural ceremony) declaring it a Special Non-Working Holiday.

The Embassy will resume normal operations on Thursday, 01 July 2010.

Au Pair Ban Lifted for Norway

After extensive discussions and negotiations with the government of Norway and various agencies in the Philippines, the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Labor and Employment have announced the lifting of the ban on the deployment of au pairs bound for Norway. The order will take effect immediately.
