Announcement to OAV Voters

Qualified OAV Voters in Norway, Denmark and Iceland have now started receiving their personal copies of the Official Ballot and other election paraphernalia for the May 2010 elections directly from COMELEC. The ballots of those whose addresses could not be ascertained were sent to the Philippine Embassy in Norway (These names will be published in this website from time to time).

The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the public that it will stop issuing the Green Passport (non-machine readable) starting on 1 April 2010. Henceforth, only Machine Readable Passports (MRP) will be issued in accordance with the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The Philippine Embassy is looking for a DRIVER/CHAUFFER with the following qualifications:

  1. Holder of a valid Driver’s license category B or a valid Philippine Driver’s License;
  2. Previous experience as a driver/chauffer;
  3. Holder of a valid residence permit in Norway; and
  4. Flexible and willing to handle other tasks which may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
