Deaths of Filipino citizens abroad must be reported and duly registered. The Philippine Embassy registers deaths of Filipino citizens in the Kingdom of Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Sweden
Below are requirements for the civil registry death report:
- Duly accomplished Report of Death form (in triplicate)
- Three (3) Originals of death certificate translated into English and authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country of death.
- Copy of passports of deceased
- Report of Death Fee (please see the Schedule of Fees page for actual prices of our Consular Services)
The Embassy will forward the Report of Death to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in the Philippines. You may retrieve the PSA-certified Death Certificate from the Philippines three months after reporting the death at the Embassy.
